Neko Atsume took the world by storm in 2014 with its simple adorable premise including plush toys, events and a forthcoming movie. According to the announcement at the 2017 PlayStation Press Conference in Japan, confirming that Neko Atsume will be coming to VR sometime in 2018.
The game lets players to buy toys, furniture and food to attract little cats was released in Japan back in 2014 on both Android and iOS platforms. A year later it arrived on the west with an English version. In Neko Atsume players can rename their cats and even take pictures with them.
Neko Atsume VR is some sort of cat feeding simulator. Given the game's mobile origins it is reasonable likely that it will come to mobile VR too, but that is speculation. There are no further details about how VR may play into the classic game, stay tuned and we will keep you posted on MoboPlay while any update comes.
